A MUSIC BLOG?  (just for a little while)

So, I'm getting kind of bored with blogging.  And, after having a few music-oriented convo's with Syka this past weekend, and having visited Nude as the News today to see their latest reviews of BloodSugarSexMagik and SuperUnknown (they don't update nearly enough, but it still is a good site for music reviews...), and after long ago writing about Pearl Jam's Vitalogy in a personal way that made Pat giddy, and with my current obsession with all things music-blog...

Maybe it is time to review some records from my youth, eh?

I passed the idea by Jessyka that I have thought about writing a book that was really just a memoir of my life in the form of reviews of the albums that I was listening to at certain times.

Make Yourself by Incubus = freshman year of college, driving up to Purdue U. to see my high school sweetheart...

Seki's The Last Song Before the Battle and Wounded Knee = the soundtrack to my first (and pretty much only) college crush...

Synchronicity = my first year living by myself in a new house...

Bleed American by Jimmy Eat World = that summer with Jess, Cory, and the Comfortzone Coffeehouse...

No Code by Pearl Jam = the soundtrack to a failed engagement...

These would merely be chapters.  It's a book I'd like to write.  Maybe I'll start it here.

Sound good to anyone but me?
